Osteopathy for Children

Help with growing bodies, sports injuries, headaches and posture problems.

Osteopathy Specially for Children

Children are not small adults - their body is still fully developing. Due to this rapid growth, tensions and blockages can arise that cause complaints. The body must constantly adapt to growth, new movement patterns and the demands placed at school and during sports.

Osteopathy can help keep your child's body in balance during this important developmental phase. By addressing small problems early, we can prevent them from growing into larger complaints.

Common Complaints

In children I regularly see the following complaints:

Physical Complaints

  • Recurring ear infections
  • Headaches and neck pain
  • Abdominal pain and constipation
  • Posture problems
  • Sports injuries

Developmental Complaints

  • Concentration problems
  • Poor sleep
  • Hyperactivity (ADHD)
  • Learning problems
  • Behavioral problems

The Treatment

During the first consultation, I take plenty of time to get to know your child and discuss the complaints. It is important that your child feels at ease. I explain what I am going to do and involve your child in the treatment.

The treatment consists of gentle mobilizations and manipulations tailored to your child's age. With older children, I can explain what I do and why. The treatment is not painful and lasts approximately 30-45 minutes.

Preventive Care

Osteopathy is not only suitable for treating complaints, but also preventively. A periodic check-up can help to identify and treat small problems early, before they grow into larger complaints. This is especially useful for children who play a lot of sports or grow quickly.

What can I help you with:

Ear infections
Poor sleep
Eye problems
Abdominal complaints and constipation
Persistent sinusitis
Dental problems
Weakened immunity
ADHD/Behavioral difficulties

Special Rate for Children

For children up to 12 years we have a special rate. The treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes and is fully tailored to your child's age and needs.
